This is a large, substantial US Marine corps onyx rope bezel emblem pendant crafted in pure 14k solid gold with the USMC eagle and anchor insignia. The eagle represents the superior air power and strength of the United States military and the anchor represents the founding of the Marine Corps in 1775 as well as the trials and tribulations of the chief officer and the burdens he carries. The pendant measures 1 1/16″ in diameter or 1 1/2″ tall overall, including the hoop and bail. The pendant has a total weight of approx. 8.92 grams of 14k solid gold, making this a valuable piece for its solid gold content alone. Made with genuine black onyx stone as the backdrop upon which the US Marine Corps eagle insignia rests.
